Cyndi Harris, author of Lucien's Hell Bound Angle

Tell us about your book:
It's about a bad boy demon/incubus, who was born and bred in Hell. All he knows is killing, until he decides to just walk away one day. Needless to say, that doesn't sit too well with his Master, so he pushes him into an impossible task on Earth. There he runs into a beautiful Angel Assassin, and the trouble begins.
How long did it take to write the book?
2 1/2 months
What inspired you to write the book?
I've always loved a good forbidden romance. And what's more forbidden than an angel/demon pairing? Besides, I felt like vampires are everywhere (and I love them), but I wanted to do something different.
Talk about the writing process. Did you have a writing routine? Did you do any research, and if so, what did that involve?
Yes, I definitely do research on my Paranormal Romance books. My favorite thing to do is to tie in some sort of "ancient" history with my work. So, I hit Google hard for certain things, and once I stumble on something pertaining to what I'm writing, I add it in. I make it fit to the point that it's very realistic. I definitely love subjects that deal with disappearances of civilizations (Like Atlantis ect.) or just anything fishy in the past. Those spark the best parts of my new found idea.

What do you hope your readers come away with after reading your book?
I hope they find a new series with great characters to love, as much as I do. Not only that, I hope it helps them find a new Indie author to love hehe.

Chapter One:

Fires of Hell

It was the most mesmerizing shade slicing through the eternal nothing that
was labeled darkness. Lucien couldn’t tear his eyes away from the vision in front of
him. Not that he wanted to anyway, she was the most stunning creature he’d ever laid his eyes on. And being a half Incubus, half Demon who resided in Hell—he’d say he was a lucky bastard.

No more than a moment later, her pure lips were on his. Untainted and soft—and her scent was divine. If he hadn’t known any better he’d say she was sent
straight from the Heavens themselves just for him. Scoffing, he knew that to be total and utter bullshit, but neither thought was gonna ruin this moment for him.

Tangling his fingers in her long black hair, he moaned as her supple breast pushed up against
his hard, bare chest.

The look in her eyes was pure hunger. Sexual hunger and he was willing to oblige. The swelling between his legs had attested to that. Burying his face in her neck, he took in more of her blissful scent, and detained the memory firm in the far
edges of his mind. Her warm mouth was now on his neck, and he felt her delicate tongue brush ever so gently along the edge. Throwing his head back, he allowed the pure pleasure suffocate him; he felt her mouth kiss his chin. Then, he felt her tongue
slide down his throat.

The utter fact that she hadn’t flinched at the scar tracing his jugular made him more at ease. Having knowing the embarrassment of women flinching at the mere sight of his scars was grueling. Hence why he’d learned to either stay away from them or glamour them to see what he could’ve been without them marring his skin.

If only—

Tossing the thoughts aside, he went back to the task at hand.
Grabbing his violet eyed beauty by both wrists, he flipped her over and laid her slender body on the cool mattress. Hearing the moan that escaped her lips, he pushed forward in knowing she craved him as much as he craved her. Burying his face in her neckline once more, he gently traced his tongue downward before nipping at it. Hearing another moan, he kept going.

She tastes like pure ecstasy. He thought.

In the next instant he heard a shrill scream. One that sent chills down his spine
as a honey tang coated his fiery tongue. Next, there were struggles.
His against hers.
